Mic Tay, Deputy Director, Transformation Office at National Youth Council Singapore

Currently leading the Transformation Office in NYC, Mic is a champion for lifelong learning and career adaptability. Trained as a television trailer producer, he has spent time as a content producer, media lecturer and online engagement professional. Today he manages a team tackling organisation transformation, robotic process automation, data analytics, and a youth service journey to address critical youth needs which includes education and career discovery.

About National Youth Council's ‘On My Way’ Platform

The ‘On My Way’ platform aims to help youths explore their education and career pathways through appealing content and approachable programmes. Based on two years of user research, it explains entry-level job roles through infographics and ‘Day-In-The-Life’ videos, creates safe spaces for them to talk to an older youth, provides unvarnished accounts from young working professionals, and hands-on taster programmes for kinaesthetic learners.

Previously, he did PE and RE across Asia, Europe and US at Alvarium (US$20BN global boutique multi-family office) and interned at Baring Private Equity Asia. He also co-founded The Mentoring Circle in SMU.

Darlene has 15 years of experience in learning and leadership development and supply chain management in local, regional and global roles with Procter & Gamble, Halogen Foundation, Unilever and Essilor. She is also a certified executive coach and holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Consulting and Coaching for change from INSEAD Business School. She is also certified in Systemic Team Coaching, Lego Serious Play.
